How does your pay compare?
Put in your salary, your age and where you work, and see where you sit against other people in the same position — read straight from a government survey, not from whatever a friend once mentioned.
What this can't tell you
This is by region, not by town or postcode — a salary that goes a long way in one part of a region and a short way in another both count the same here. There's no adjustment for the local cost of living, because there's no reliable way to put a figure on that.
The age groups are the ones ONS publishes, not one built around any particular birthday, so where you sit can jump a little at the edge of a group even though nothing about you has changed.
